British junior single-seater team Rodin Carlin will lose the name of its co-founder as it rebrands to Rodin Motorsport.

Two months ago Trevor Carlin – who co-founded the eponymous team as Carlin Motorsport in 1996 – had his position as a director of the outfit’s holding company (which had taken on the Rodin name in May 2023 to reflect its ownership by the New Zealand-based automotive manufacturer) terminated, but there was no confirmation from either party on whether he had left the outfit entirely. He was its acting team principal, but once the news of the end of his directorship had come to light the racing activities for the year had already concluded.

At the end of November his wife Stephanie – who had been Carlin’s deputy team principal since July 2022 – was then announced as moving to McLaren (who she joined last week) to become its Formula 1 business operations director.

It has now been confirmed that Trevor Carlin has left team operations, although it was not mentioned in today’s company’s announcement which alongside the rebranding affirmed that the team will continue to race in Formula 2, FIA Formula 3, GB3, British Formula 4, Spanish F4 and F1 Academy.

“I’m thrilled to lead Rodin Motorsport in this new era of our racing history,” said David Dicker, the team’s director and majority owner who is the founder of Rodin Cars.

“The team have a tremendous racing pedigree which we will continue to build upon moving forward. The 2024 season is once again going to be an exciting year for everyone at Rodin Motorsport and I for one can’t wait to get back on track where we belong.

“Our core values remain the same and we continue to strive to be the leading junior motorsport team. Our commitment to the drivers, championships and staff remains unwavering; we are here to race, develop drivers and keep winning.”

The trophy-filled 28-year history of Carlin includes titles in F2, Formula Renault 3.5, Indy Nxt, GP3, British F3, GB3 and British F4. The team also completed in the top level of single-seaters, running entries in A1 GP and Formula E and spending four seasons competing under its own name in IndyCar from 2018 to ’21.

Rodin Carlin has promoted its GB3 champion Callum Voisin to its FIA Formula 3 Championship squad for 2024.

The 17-year-old started his car racing career by coming sixth in Ginetta Junior in 2021, then stepped up to GB3 the year after with Carlin.

In his rookie GB3 season he won three races and came fourth in the standings. Although he only took two wins in his sophomore campaign, he got five more podiums than the previous year and claimed the title by scoring 125 points more than he did in 2022.

“I am absolutely thrilled to be staying with Rodin Carlin for the 2024 FIA F3 season,” said Voisin, who is the team’s first F3 signing for this year.

“It is a dream of mine to race alongside the Formula 1 stage, so I can’t wait to get started with pre-season testing in Bahrain. There is plenty for me to learn, not least new tracks and a different car. I am immensely grateful to Rodin Carlin, RDA and Edge management for making this possible.”

Carlin’s FIA F3 team manager Sam Waple added: “I’m so pleased that Callum will be joining our FIA F3 team for the upcoming season. Callum has been part of the wider Rodin Carlin team for the past two seasons so being able to build on that strong working relationship is something I’m incredibly happy we can continue. Despite the learning curve ahead, I have no doubt that Callum with be a huge asset to the team following what was a brilliant GB3 championship-winning campaign.”

Predicted to be one of the closest seasons, GB3 in 2023 proved to be just that with a open title fight that ebbed and flowed all year between Callum Voisin, Alex Dunne and Joseph Loake

It was Rodin Carlin’s Voisin that ultimately sealed the crown in his sophomore campaign, helped by a very consistent season where he accumulated more podiums than anyone else and was in the top six in 14 of the 16 non-reversed-grid races.

Although he only won two races, the 17-year-old still maintained the one-lap pace that had made him stand out in his rookie single-seater assault in 2022. He became the first driver to win GB3’s Jack Cavill Pole Position Cup twice after notching up six poles, twice as many as anybody else managed.

Keen to eradicate the mistakes that he felt came too often last year, Voisin arrived at the Oulton Park opener with a more mature approach, putting all his focus into a title challenge.

He came away from Chesire with two podiums, but felt slightly frustrated about being taken out of the reversed-grid race, and added another podium next time out at Silverstone despite being put in the shade by team-mate John Bennett who won twice on-the-road before post-race penalties came into play.

Following his dominant 2022 British Formula 4 title success, Alex Dunne was slightly inconspicuous at the first two rounds, failing to make the podium and retiring in a collision with Bennett while in contention for victory in race two at Silverstone.

In contrast, fellow British F4 graduate Joseph Loake had a flying start. He won on his debut at Oulton in a JHR Developments one-two, and profited from Bennett’s Silverstone misfortune to inherit two victories, making it three wins from five starts.

“We came off the back of quite a good second half of F4, I only picked up my first pole in single-seaters at the final round last year,” says Loake. “To come straight back and do it again in a completely new car against a lot of people that were [in GB3] last year was quite special.

“It took a while to get confidence in the [F4] car but I knew what I needed to do to be quick. I just managed to switch it on straight away in this car.”

Dunne finally hit form at Spa-Francorchamps, passing Voisin in races one and two to take two wins ahead of his rival. Loake struggled, losing the points lead to Voisin in race two before regaining it by salvaging second in the reversed-grid race.

The close fight continued as the season reached its halfway point at Snetterton. Voisin regained the advantage once more with second in the opener, but a collision with Tymek Kucharczyk while leading race two denied him victory again. With a mistake also costing Loake, a consistent weekend helped Dunne become the third different leader of the standings.

The championship run-in began with a second visit to Silverstone, where the main contenders all struggled – of those only Voisin took a podium finish – and race three was abandoned due to monsoon conditions.

There was extreme weather of a different kind next time out at Brands Hatch, with baking hot conditions providing its own challenges. Loake enjoyed an important return to form, winning from pole ahead of Voisin in race one. The pair lined up on the front row again in the sequel, but this time it was Voisin who made good use of pole to fend off his rival on lap one before finally taking his first win of 2023.

“It was important to do that because not winning in a long time, just for myself was good to get a win under my belt,” says Voisin. “We made some changes to the car, we worked really hard over the summer break and we came back full guns blazing. I made some steps forward in my driving as well and my technique.”

Dunne failed to convert some promising testing pace into a strong qualifying, and a collision with Matthew Rees as he tried to make up ground in race one brought a second retirement of the season for the Irishman.

Trailing Voisin by 42 points, Dunne needed a flawless weekend on GB3’s first ever visit to Zandvoort. And that’s exactly what he delivered, producing the most dominant display of the season with two crushing victories. Voisin kept the points lead by finishing seventh and sixth in those two races after an incident in qualifying left him starting down the order, but both Loake and Dunne were now within four points of him.

“After Brands I kind of had the mindset of playing catch-up, so to execute pole position and two race wins was good,” said Dunne of his double triumph. “I needed to raise my game a bit, we were missing a little bit at some points of the year. We hit the ground running and the pace was really strong.”

Starting ahead of his main rivals in the reversed-grid race, Voisin made the best use of just six corners of green-flag racing to gain 10 places to fifth, extending his lead over Loake to 13 points, with Dunne four points further behind.

“We made the best out of a bad situation,” Voisin reflects on his damage-limiting performance in the Netherlands. “We made up positions when we had to, and that’s all you can really ask for when you have a situation like that. It was probably the messiest qualifying I’ve had in a long time. We made good moves and climbed up the order in every race. To only concede one point over the weekend was a miracle.”

All of the three main title contenders knew they could snatch the crown with a strong performance at the Donington Park decider. And it was Voisin that delivered when it mattered, taking two poles in qualifying then converting the first of those into his second victory of the season to put himself within touching distance of the title.

He again led in race two, but a small mistake in greasy conditions gave Dunne the opportunity to pounce and grab the lead. By going on to seal his fifth win, Dunne ensured the title battle went down to the wire. It was now a two-horse race, as a pair of difficult contests ended Loake’s hopes.

“I was never expecting to be in the top three in the championship this year so I feel I can be quite proud of what I have done,” says Loake. “I wanted to win it, it would have been a dream to do that, but I would have taken it with both hands [at the start of the year] to come away with third.”

Voisin, however, did what he needed to do in the deciding reversed-grid bout. Starting from 22nd and needing to finish 12th to guarantee himself the title, the Anglo-Swiss quickly gained those 10 places and then maintained station until the chequered flag was waved under safety car conditions.

“Really difficult to put into words,” Voisin reflects on his title success. “It’s been a long old year. We’ve made the most of it. Every time we bagged the points, we did the most we could and we’ve been rewarded with that. We got better towards the end of the season and it was brilliant to finish on a high.

“The main focus compared to last year was just staying consistent. The highs were really high last year but then the lows were way too low. And that was the main focus, minimising the lows, and I think we’ve done that relatively well.”

There was little time to celebrate immediately afterwards, with Voisin heading straight to Imola for an FIA Formula 3 test the following day, and he will get another testing opportunity in the series as a prize for winning the GB3 crown.

“It was relatively short notice,” he reveals of his F3 opportunity. “I was thrown in at the deep end but it went really well. We showed what we could do and it was a great learning experience. The power-to-weight ratio, how it feels over one lap is very similar to the GB3 car, it’s just extracting the most out of the tyre and knowing when to extract it because the balance changes throughout the lap because of how soft the tyre is.”

“It’s going to be a long winter trying to find the budget to do [F3] but winning this has done a tremendous amount of good.”

Championship runner-up Dunne is also aiming to race in F3 next year, having impressed on his debut at last month’s Macau Grand Prix by finishing second in the qualification race before crashing out of the main race.

Loake’s impressive year ended on a high by winning the prestigious Aston Martin Autosport BRDC Award, earning £200,000 and a Formula 1 test as part of his prize.

“My original plan was to do two years in GB3, but now I’ve done so well this year I need to look at other options and see where else I can go,” he said of his plans for 2024.

If it wasn’t for a disastrous round one, McKenzy Cresswell would have likely been a strong title contender as well. A switch to Elite Motorsport brought improved confidence for his second year in GB3, but he was hampered at Oulton by a pre-event testing crash and a broken anti-roll bar in qualifying, and more bad luck in all three races left him at the foot of the standings.

Podiums followed at the next two rounds and, after a brief FIA F3 Championship cameo during GB3’s summer break, Cresswell scored a maiden win and five other podiums from seven races, outscoring everyone else during that period to keep his remote title hopes alive until the final round.

Rees was another sophomore driver expecting to mount a title challenge. He also remained within mathematical contention until Donington, but it proved to be largely a season of missed opportunities. Despite being one of the most consistent qualifiers, Rees only won once, with mistakes and incidents blighting his campaign.

James Hedley only secured his place on the grid for a second term on the eve of the season, and he took an emotional maiden win during a very wet race two at Oulton, which helped him raise further budget to remain with Arden VRD for the other seven rounds. He took another win and a further podium at Snetterton, but wasn’t able to reproduce that form elsewhere. After a largely solid campaign, he is aiming to continue in single-seaters in Europe next year.

His team-mate Noah Ping also won at Snetterton, while Hillspeed’s Daniel Mavlyutov was the driver to beat in the reversed-grid races, winning four out of the seven that took place – with Oliver Stewart, Ping and Gerrard Xie claiming the other three.

Kucharczyk was unsure if he would be racing at all in 2023 due to budget issues, but the PK Orlen-backed driver impressed early on for Douglas Motorsport. Some eye-catching pace during round two at Silverstone secured him a double pole, but he was cruelly sent to the back of the grid for all three races after his, and another of Douglas’ cars, were excluded from qualifying for a technical infringement.

The Polish charger lost another potential victory opportunity in his collision with Voisin at Snetterton, but did finish on the podium twice elsewhere before suffering a dip in form during the final three rounds.

Max Esterson was another tipped to fight for the title with Fortec Motorsports but it proved a largely fruitless second year in GB3, with his only podium arriving at the Donington finale. After also competing in two rounds of FIA F3 this year, the American is aiming for a full-time step up to the series in 2024 and recently took part in testing with Jenzer Motorsport.

Grid numbers peaked at a new high of 25 in GB3’s second year using the halo-shod Tatuus MSV-022 chassis, which is set to be replaced with an even faster machine in 2025. With a third overseas round at Hungaroring and the addition of Formula Ford 1600 stalwarts Ammonite Motorsport as a 10th team, the series looks set to grow further in 2024.

Alpine have confirmed their junior driver Abbi Pulling will remain at Rodin Carlin for her second season in the Formula 4-spec and all-female F1 Academy series.

It will mark the 20-year-old’s fourth year in F4. She spent one-and-a-half seasons with JHR Developments in the British championship and claimed seven podiums. She was sixth in the standings in her full rookie season.

This year she came fifth in the inaugural F1 Academy season, making the podium seven times and also getting two poles.

“I’m very grateful to be coming back for another year as an Alpine Academy driver, and I am honoured that the Alpine Formula 1 Team are entrusting me as their driver selection for the 2024 F1 Academy season,” said Pulling.

“This will be my third season in the team’s driver development programme, it’s amazing to be a part of the Alpine Racing family and have such incredible access and support from a F1 team. I’m looking forward to competing in the F1 Academy series for a second season and to be racing with Carlin again. I’m hoping to have a successful year and bring in some good results for the team. I’m excited to head into another season of racing on the F1 support bill.”

Carlin said Pulling will also return to British F4 to contest selected rounds with the team alongside her F1 Academy programme.

Pulling does have experience of higher levels of single-seaters, having raced in the Formula Regional-spec W Series in 2021 and ’22. She got three podiums and a pole in the all-female championship, and was fourth in the standings last year.

Julian Rouse, sporting director for Alpine’s F1 team, commented: “We’re pleased to announce Abbi as our Alpine driver selection for F1 Academy’s 2024 season. This will be her third season as a member of the Alpine Racing family as an Alpine Academy driver, and she has shown some great progress over the course of her time with the team, both on and off the track.”

Alex Ninovic has been named as Rodin Carlin’s first signing for the 2024 British Formula 4 season.

The 16-year-old Australian is already well known to the team, having raced for them in the Spanish F4 championship this year. He came 10th in the standings, picking up one podium from his rookie campaign in single-seater racing.

In 2022 he was national champion in his home country on KA3 Senior karts, and the year before that was the KA4 Junior champion.

“I’m super excited and can’t wait to continue flying the Rodin Cars flag into the 2024 British F4 championship,” said Ninovic.

“I feel like we had a strong first season in Europe racing in Spanish F4 so I’m looking forward to the British rounds and taking all this knowledge forward. I want to say thank you to Rodin Cars for their continued support of me and giving me the opportunity to race again this season and build on everything we’ve learnt so far.”

Stephanie Carlin, who was team principal of Carlin’s other F4 operation in F1 Academy this year, commented: “I’m so pleased that Alex will be remaining with the team and making the move to British F4. Alex had a positive debut season in Europe and made great progress to claim his first podium in Valencia. I have no doubt that he will take all this experience with him to British F4 and enjoy a really strong season with the team.”

Next month Carlin, whose husband Trevor recently stepped down as a director of the team’s holding company and has not confirmed what trackside roles he will fulfill next season, will leave her family’s team to become McLaren’s Formula 1 business operations director and also oversee its involvement – via the branding of several cars – in F1 Academy.

Rodin Carlin’s Zane Maloney was fastest on the second morning of Formula 2 post-season testing at Yas Marina Circuit.

There were few changes at the top of the times over of the course of the three-hour session, with DAMS’ Juan Manuel Correa leading the way through the first seven minutes by bringing the pace down to 1m37.933s from a starting point of 1m54.143s.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli then went fastest with a 1m37.508s lap, but nine seconds later Prema team-mate Ollie Bearman usurped him by 0.04 seconds. Tucked into Bearman’s slipstream was Maloney, who profited to go fastest by 0.508s.

Three minutes later Antonelli returned to the top by setting a 1m36.607s, and this time he remained there for 17 minutes later. Before he was challenged for first place, there were laps deleted on track limits grounds for Campos Racing’s Pepe Marti, who would later improve to get into the top four, Trident’s Richard Verschoor and DAMS’ Jak Crawford.

Antonelli was knocked off top spot by a 1m36.040s set by MP Motorsport’s Dennis Hauger 28 minutes into the session, and two laps later he improved to 1m35.954s. He did 36 more laps during the morning and was unable to beat that time, but it still secured him third place by the time the chequered flag appeared.

Marti and Correa had laps deleted later in the first hour, and although Correa then did set an improvement that counted he slumped down to 15th place.

Four minutes into the second hour the pace was lowered by 0.171s as Maloney set a 1m35.783s. ART Grand Prix’s Victor Martins and Zak O’Sullivan got within 0.105s and 0.21s of him respectively, putting them second and fifth, and Antonelli became the sixth driver to break into the 1m35s with a lap just 0.002s slower than O’Sullivan’s best.

There was no change to the order near the top in the session’s second half, although everyone in the top 11 improved on their day one pace and they were covered by just 0.317s, and there was a scheduled four-minute red flag period with half an hour to go that teams had been informed would occur 74 minutes prior.

Virtuosi Racing’s Gabriel Bortoleto also got a warning with 40 minutes to go to ensure he was doing practice starts “from within the coned box” rather than elsewhere in the pit area.

Martins, Bortoleto, Campos’s Isack Hadjar, Bearman, Trident’s Oliver Goethe and Hitech GP duo Paul Aron and Amaury Cordeel were the only drivers on track when the session ended.

Rodin Carlin has revealed Zane Maloney and Ritomo Miyata as its 2024 Formula 2 line-up.

Maloney won the 2019 British Formula 4 title with the team as a single-seater rookie, came eighth in Euroformula the year after, then reunited with the British outfit as he embarked on his rookie F2 campaign this year.

The 20-year-old from Barbados picked up four feature race podiums to come 10th in the standings. For one weekend he also stepped back down to FIA Formula 3, where he came second in the championship in 2022, to contest the World Cup in Macau with Carlin and finished eighth.

“I’m really pleased to be remaining with the team for the 2024 season. I feel as though I’ve learned so much this year on track and I really believe we’re in a good place to hit the ground running next year,” said Maloney.

“I’ve been with the team for three out of my five years in single seaters so it’s like a family here; I’m looking forward to continuing that relationship and going for the championship together in 2024.”

Just over a week ago, Toyota made the surprise announcement that it would be sending reigning Super Formula champion Miyata down the single-seater lader to F2 for next year.

The 24-year-old won the Japanese F4 title in 2016 and ’17 as a Toyota junior, then came second in Japanese F3 two years in a row before winning the title in 2020 as the series evolved into Super Formula Lights.

That year he also earned a seat in Super GT’s top GT500 class with one of Toyota’s teams and made his debut in SF. Miyata claimed his first Super GT500 win in 2022, then this year took three wins en route to the title and won two races in SF as he became champion there too.

The relocation of his racing career to Europe is part of Toyota Gazoo Racing’s ‘Challenge Program’ driver development scheme, and will also include racing in the European Le Mans Series’ top LMP2 class.

“I’m excited to join Rodin Carlin and participate in F2 for the 2024 season. Carlin has lots of experience and have achieved great things in the series,” said Miyata.

“For me, it is my first time driving a F2 car and the tracks on the calendar, so I have a lot to learn but I’m really looking forward to working with the team. I would like to thank Morizo-san, TGR staff, all the partners and Carlin who created this opportunity and supported me to race in F2 this season. I will do my best to meet everyone’s expectations.”

Miyata will get his first experience of an F2 car in this week’s post-season test at Yas Marina Circuit.

Enzo Fittipaldi says braking issues cost him a second Formula 2 win in the sprint race at Yas Marina Circuit.

The Rodin Carlin driver started on reversed-grid pole and led the first 19 laps in the 23-lap race. But after Prema’s Frederik Vesti overtook him, he dropped 3.893 seconds behind.

Fittipaldi said afterwards he was “frustrated” as he wanted to win, and “I really did give it my best” to achieve that.

“At the end with five or six laps to go, we started dropping off a lot, struggling with brake temperatures and everything and struggling a lot under braking. I saw Vesti was catching me a lot,” he explained.

“When he went for the move, I think I was over a bump or something in the middle of the track, then as soon as I braked I locked my right-front and got a massive flatspot and that’s why I dropped off a lot more than I would have in the last couple of laps because my tyre was like a square. It was a crazy race.”

Fittipaldi and Vesti had already fought for the lead early on, having shared the grid’s front row.

“I think I did a decent start from my side, but Fred had a really good start. I was able to keep it around the outside, and I think we were clean between me and him. He went for a move in T4 and I ended up falling back to third or fourth, and then I went all in in T6 and overtook a couple of cars and was in the lead out of turn six. My first laps of the race, the first 10 or 12 laps, I was able to create a good gap. But then I just struggled a lot in the last five laps.”

Carlin “probably will” make set-up changes for the feature race to avoid a repeat of Fittipaldi’s struggles.

“We were really fast in the 10 first [laps], 60, 70% of the race. But the very little details make a big difference. So we’re going to do some changes. We need to, I think, make some little changes to improve our pace at the end of a race stint. I’d say maybe as well from my side, I was a little bit too aggressive in the first couple laps trying to build the gap and break the DRS, which I did. We’ll analyse and see what we can do to improve for tomorrow.”

While it’s “very important” to end the season on a high, it will not be easy from 10th on the grid.

“As we saw today, you can make a lot of moves like Vesti today if you have the pace,” said Fittipaldi. “So I’m sure it’s going to be a very eventful race with strategy as well tomorrow. We saw that during last year, doing the prime-option strategy really worked out. So I think there’ll be a lot of drivers on different strategies and it will be very interesting to see how it plays out.”

A provisional entry list has been released for next weekend’s Formula 4 United Arab Emirates Trophy, a non-championship event that takes place on the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix support bill.

The event will consist of two races lasting 28 minutes-plus-one lap, and 14 drivers have been announced as taking part.

Prema will field Rashid Al Dhaheri, Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 junior Alex Powell and Freddie Slater. Local racer Al Dhaheri came 10th in Italian F4 and 12th in Euro 4 with the team this year, while Powell and Slater only made their single-seater debuts in the second half of 2023.

Slater made the move from karts to cars via the entry-level sportscar series Ginetta Junior and won the title, then joined Double R Racing for the last two British F4 rounds and claimed three fourth places and a fastest lap. He also did the last two Italian F4 rounds with Van Amersfoort Racing, then joined Prema for the Euro 4 finale and the non-championship F4 South East Asia rond in Macau.

Powell was also present in Italian F4’s last two events, debuting with Prema, and had a best result of 10th in the season finale.

Yas Heat Academy’s two-car entry is headed by local racer Keanu Al Azhari, who returns to the team for whom he drove in the 2022 edition of the F4 UAE Trophy as well as in the 2023 F4 UAE season in which he was seventh. Following that he raced in Spanish F4 with MP Motorsport in a Richard Mille-funded seat. Alongside him, Briton Zack Scoular will be making his first steps into car racing.

The Al Qubaisi sisters are back for yet another event on home soil. Both Hamda and Amna will race for MP, the team they competed with in F1 Academy this year. They came third and seventh, with four and two race wins to their names, respectively.

Jessica Edgar, who was eighth in the inaugural F1 Academy season, will race in the UAE as Rodin Carlin’s sole entry.

Xcel Motorsport has the highest number of entries confirmed with a total of six. Carlin’s F4 regulars Dion Gowda, Noah Lisle (a three-time race-winner in British F4), Josh Irfan and Federico Al Rifai are joined by Georgi Zhuravskiy and Laura Villars.

Zhuravskiy drove for Drivex School in Spanish F4 this year then stepped up to Eurocup-3 for the last two rounds, while Villars comes from the Ultimate Cup Series.

The FIA has published the provisional entry list for this year’s Macau Grand Prix, with two-time winner Dan Ticktum the biggest name set to compete.

Ticktum was the victor in 2017 and ’18 with Motopark, and then finished 13th in 2019 – the last time the race ran for Formula 3 cars before this year – with the Rodin Carlin team.

He rejoins them for his return to the race and to junior single-seaters, since he has been racing in Formula E for the last two years. His team-mate in Macau will be Formula 2 racer and Red Bull junior Zane Maloney, with Carlin yet to name a third driver.

Richard Verschoor suceeded Ticktum as Macau GP winner and has already been announced as attempting to defend his FIA F3 World Cup crown with Trident, along with F2 rival Roman Stanek.

Also stepping down from F2 to race in Macau is Red Bull junior Isack Hadjar, who along with Williams junior Luke Browning will form part of Hitech GP’s line-up. It too is yet to announce its third driver.

In total 14 of this season’s FIA F3 full-timers will be racing. The champion and runner-up are skipping Macau, but Paul Aron – who came third in the standings – will be driving for Prema alongside with Gabriele Mini and Dino Beganovic.

Drivers arriving from other series to tackle the challenge of Macau include Euroformula champion Noel Leon at Van Amersfoort Racing) and McLaren’s new Formula 4 champion Ugo Ugochukwu who will be a total newcomer to F3-level racing when he lines up on the grid with Trident.

GB3 racer Max Esterson and Formula Regional European Championship driver Matias Zagazeta will both race for Jenzer Motorsport.

PHM Racing, one of FIA F3’s 10 teams, is not contesting the Macau GP.
