Hitech GP has completed its 2026 GB3 line-up with the signings of Deagen Fairclough and Yuhao Fu.

Fairclough is returning to GB3 after coming third in last year’s standings and scoring a maiden victory at the Monza finale.

The 19-year-old started his car racing career driving tin-tops in Junior Saloons and BRSCC Fiesta Junior before earning a move into single-seaters by winning a ROKiT-backed Racing Star Formula 4 Esports competition.

He finished third as a rookie in British F4 in 2023 with JHR Developments, and a switch to Hitech for his sophomore season yielded a dominant title success with a record-breaking 14 wins. 

Fairclough was the recipient of the 2024 Silverstone Autosport BRDC Award, and tested an Aston Martin Formula 1 car last year as part of his prize.

“I’m really happy to be staying with Hitech for another season in GB3,” he said. “Last year taught me a lot, and I feel like we’ve built a strong base together. I’m excited to keep working with the team and to go into 2026 ready to fight for strong results.”

“Deagen made strong progress throughout his first GB3 season, and his commitment and work ethic stood out,” added Hitech’s GB3 team manager Phil Blow.  “Having continuity for a second year is a big positive, and we believe that with his experience base, he’s well positioned to take another step forward in 2026.”

Fu is stepping up to GB3 after two seasons competing in F4.

The 16-year-old made his first single-seater starts in the UAE4 and F4 South East Asia in 2023. The following year he came fourth in Chinese F4, taking two victories, and was 19th in British F4 with Virtuosi Racing.

In 2025 he took 15th in the F4 Middle East championship and was 25th in British F4 following a switch to Xcel Motorsport.

“I’m really excited to be joining Hitech for this GB3 campaign,” said Fu. “After gaining so much experience across different series, I’m looking forward to working with the team and pushing for strong results in 2026.”

Leading Ginetta Junior outfit R Racing will make its single-seater debut this season with a planned two-car entry in GB4.

Founded by Jamie Ross and Nathan Read in 2019, R Racing has rapidly achieved a huge amount of success in Ginetta’s entry-level sportscar series, scoring 90 victories and winning five of the last six drivers’ and teams’ titles.

Amongst its alumni is recently-announced Audi Formula 1 development driver Freddie Slater, who took a record-breaking 16 wins from 20 starts en route to the 2023 crown, while Mercedes junior and British F4 race-winner Ethan Jeff-Hall became champion with the team in the following season.

Last year R Racing fielded two Red Bull juniors, Scott Kin Lindblom and Rocco Coronel, the latter winning the title in dominant fashion. 

The team has also competed in the British GT Championship, its best season coming in 2022 when it claimed third in the GT4 standings.

“Receiving the GB4 cars is a major milestone for R Racing and a significant step forward for the team,” said Ross. “It’s the result of years of preparation and commitment behind the scenes, and it underlines our ambition to compete at a high level. We’re excited to begin this next chapter and get the cars on track.”

The addition of R Racing is a further boost for GB4, which has attracted three more drivers for the upcoming season in recent days, taking the number of confirmed entries up to 19.

Torrin Byrne will continue with Pace Performance, which is run by his father Sean, for his first step into single-seaters after spending two years racing for the team in Ginetta Junior.  The 17-year-old finished 15th in the standings in 2024 and improved to ninth last year with three poles and two podium finishes to his name.

John O’Donnell will also remain with the team for his first full GB4 campaign after scoring a pair of 18th place finishes on his debut at the 2025 season finale.

Holly Miall, another who started out in Ginetta Junior, has completed KMR Sport’s three-car lineup with a switch from Fox Motorsport for her sophomore GB4 campaign, having last year finished 22nd overall as a single-seater rookie.

GB4 has confirmed it will hold five official pre-season tests at each of the circuits that make up its seven-round calendar. Two-day tests will take place at Snetterton, Donington Park and Silverstone in March, a further two days of running will take place at Oulton Park on 31 March and 1 April, and Brands Hatch will host a single-day test around it’s Grand Prix layout on 9 April.

Formula 4 race-winner Martin Molnar has completed Rodin Motorsport’s 2026 GB3 line-up.

The 17-year-old began his career in karting, where he won the South Garda Winter Cup and was WSK Champions Cup runner-up on OK karts in 2023 and was a finalist in the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy shootout.

Molnar then stepped up to single-seaters and shone during two seasons with Virtuosi Racing in British F4.

In 2025 he took the rookie cup having scored five outright podiums en route to eighth in the standings. The Hungarian racer improved to third overall last year with two victories and eight other podiums, and also came 13th in F4 Middle East.

“I am really looking forward to the upcoming season and excited to continue my career with the top team in GB3,” said Molnar.

“I believe an extremely exciting year lies ahead of us; during last autumn’s tests, we immediately found a strong working relationship with the team, and everyone has been highly professional and composed.”

He joins GB3 race-winner Maxim Rehm and series sophomore Abbi Pulling at Rodin, which has been the home of each of the last three champions. 

“We’re happy to welcome Martin to Rodin Motorsport for the 2026 GB3 season,” said the team’s sporting director Benn Huntingford.

“He’s shown strong potential and a mature approach to his racing and we believe this environment will allow him to continue developing while competing at a high level. We’re looking forward to seeing how he progresses with the team.”

Meanwhile, this year’s GB4 grid has grown to 16 cars, with multiple karting champion Cian Geraghty joining Scorpio Motorsport for his first season in single-seaters.

The 17-year-old won the Kartmasters Grand Prix and came third in an X30 senior kart in both the British karting championship and the IAME Euro Series in 2024. Last year he added further titles in the Ultimate Karting Championship and Rotax National Trophy, and finished fourth on his car racing debut during an Mazda MX-5 Supercup cameo at Oulton Park.

He will partner BRSCC Fiesta Junior graduate Archie Davies at Scorpio, which is returning for its first full GB4 campaign after contesting the 2022 season finale.

“After a strong few years of senior karting, I am looking forward to making the step up to the GB4 championship for my first season of car racing,” said Geraghty. “I am really looking forward to racing with Scorpio Motorsport and seeing what we can do together.

“We had a really positive first day in the car at Snetterton and I am looking forward to building on that through the winter testing before round one. A massive thankyou to everyone at Scorpio Motorsport for everything they have done to give me this opportunity for 2026.”

Abbi Pulling will stay with Rodin Motorsport as she embarks on a second GB3 campaign in 2026.

It will be Pulling’s fourth year with Rodin, her association with the team having begun in F1 Academy. Two seasons in the all-female Formula 4 series yielded fifth overall in 2023 and a dominant championship success with nine victories at the second attempt. She also took one win and seventh in the standings during a partial British F4 assault with Rodin in 2024.

Pulling received a fully-funded drive in GB3 last season as her prize for winning the F1 Academy crown. She went on to take a podium finish at Brands Hatch and ended the season 10th in the points.

“I’m delighted to be returning to the GB3 Championship with Rodin Motorsport for the upcoming season,” said Pulling. “We had some really strong moments last year, including our first podium at Brands Hatch, and I’m looking forward to more of those this season with the team. 

“I’m really thankful to Rodin Cars and my other partners for their continued support of my career, and am looking forward to bringing some more trophies back to Farnham this year and applying everything I learned in 2025.”

“We’re very pleased to continue working with Abbi for the 2026 GB3 season, both on track with Rodin Motorsport and as a Rodin Cars ambassador,” added Rodin’s managing director Emma Duncan.

“She showed strong progression throughout her rookie year, and her podium towards the end of 2025 underlined her potential. We’re confident this continuity will allow her to build on that momentum next season.”

Four more seats have also been filled on the GB4 grid.

Josh Maclean will remain with Pace Performance for a second season, having come 14th as a single-seater rookie last year, with seventh place his best result.

Luke Hilton has switched to ADM for his sophomore campaign. He took one podium and finished 18th overall with Douglas Motorsport last year despite missing two rounds.

Car racing rookie Jay Leverton has been announced as Idola Motorsport’s first signing, the 16-year-old having competed in karting in the UK since 2021.

American teenager Jordyn Martin has completed Fortec Motorsports’ three-car lineup. The 15-year-old started out in motocross before moving into karting, and has already made her first single-seater starts in USA’s East Formula Series and the Ligier Junior Formula Championship.

American racer Jason Pribyl will remain with ADM as the team make its expansion into GB3 this year.

The 20-year-old competed for Gary Ward’s outfit in GB4 last season, coming 17th in the standings as a rookie and scored a best result of third during round two at Silverstone.

Pribyl previously raced single-seaters and sportscars in his homeland before moving his career to Europe via the wingless Formula Ford 1600 category. There he scored two victories and finished as championship runner-up in United FFord in 2024, and also contested that year’s FFord Festival and Walter Hayes Trophy events.

Having run a single car for Pribyl in its inaugural GB4 campaign, ADM is planning three-car entries in both GB3 and GB4 this year after joining forces with British Superbike team owner Nitrous Competitions.

“For me it’s the obvious decision to stay with Gary and ADM for 2026,” said Pribyl. “With such little infrastructure last year, we were able to accomplish some incredible things, and now with the support of David [Williams] and Nitrous Competitions, we’ll be a force in GB3. 

“The car really excites me, and I’m looking forward to racing it with the upgrades and the incredible calendar.”

Ward believes Pribyl has “shown a lot of promise so far” during winter testing and added “we’re really pleased that Jason has opted to stay with us, as we all get ready for our first year in GB3″.

“Obviously the team has changed a lot since the end of the season, but by retaining Jason we’re moving up with a driver we know really well, and we’re very confident that he’ll make an accomplished step up to the next level with us.”

The 2026 GB4 grid has also grown this week, as Fortec Motorsports has named karting graduate Franciszek Cegielski as its second driver.

The 16-year-old will race alongside GB4 sophomore Thomas Ingram Hill for his first season in car racing, having achieved karting success in both his native Poland and on the international stage.

Fred Green will move from Elite Motorsport’s Ginetta Junior line-up to its GB4 squad for 2026.

Green, nephew of former DTM racer and 2004 Formula 3 Euro Series champion Jamie Green, will make his first steps into single-seater racing after starring in Ginetta’s entry-level sportscar series this year.

Having been chosen as Ginetta Junior’s scholarship driver for 2025, the 16-year-old became the most successful scholar in the programme’s history by amassing nine wins, seven of which were in the last nine races, to be championship runner-up.

Green also achieved success on the British karting scene this year by winning both the Kartmasters Grand Prix and the ‘O’ Plate at Whitton Mill. He is Elite’s second signing for next season, joining Israeli racer Matan Achituv.

“After a strong year in Ginetta Junior, and with the support of Elite Motorsport and MotorSport Vision, I’m incredibly excited and grateful to step up to the GB4 championship,” said Green.

“I’m continuing with Elite for 2026 because I’ve really enjoyed the team environment and the relationships I’ve built throughout the year. I know they can give me a competitive package to have another successful year.

“My aim in 2026 is to win the driver’s championship while at the same time contributing to the teams’ championship title race with the ultimate goal of helping Elite secure the title for a second consecutive year.”

“I’ve learned a huge amount this season, especially in developing my racecraft and leading races under pressure. GB4 testing at Donington, Snetterton and Silverstone has helped me take big steps forward and I’m improving every lap as I learn how to get the most out of a GB4 car.”

Returning team Scorpio Motorsport has this week unveiled Archie Davies as its first driver. The 16-year-old has spent two years racing touring cars in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior championship, coming eighth in 2024 and improving to fourth this year. He will swap tin-tops for single-seaters next year, having done a test programme in F4 and GB4 machinery.

“I’m really excited to be joining Scorpio Motorsport for the 2026 GB4 season,” said Davies. “After two great years in Fiesta Junior, stepping up to GB4 feels like the perfect next challenge.”

“The team has a strong reputation and I’m confident we can work well together to be competitive from the start. I’m looking forward to getting going and seeing what we can achieve.”

Arden has announced it will return to GB3 in 2026, with Leon Wilson named as its first driver.

The Banbury-based team took wins when it joined GB3 in 2021, and a three-year collaboration with American outfit Velocity Racing Development yielded six more wins before VRD went solo this year. Arden still competed in GB4.

Wilson was a member of the Arden-affiliated Young Racing Driver Academy before stepping up to GB4 with the team in 2024, taking one podium and coming 10th in the standings as a car racing rookie.

He improved to seventh in the points this year, winning at Snetterton and Donington Park, and has already begun testing in one of Arden’s recently-acquired Tatuus MSV GB3-025 cars.

“I’m massively excited to be stepping up to GB3 next season, and to be doing so with Arden,” said Wilson.

“This team has been such an important part of my career development up to now, so when they confirmed their plans to move back up to GB3 next year, I immediately knew where I wanted to race in 2026.

“It’s a big step up, but I’ve really enjoyed the testing we’ve done together so far, and I’m looking forward to more seat time over the next few months.”

Having entered a single car for Wilson in GB4 last year, Arden also ran fellow YRDA graduate Dudley Ruddock and Ava Dobson in an expanded three-car line-up during 2025.

It has previously competed at multiple levels of the junior single-seater ladder, including Formula 2, and will return to international competition by joining GB3 as its calendar expands further into Europe from its base in Britain.

“We’re very pleased to be stepping back up to GB3 next year, and to confirm Leon as our first driver,” said Arden team principal Garry Horner.

“As we grew our GB4 operations, we wanted to ensure our drivers had an option with us to continue their development, and GB3 is obviously the perfect fit. We’ve had a lot of success in various iterations in GB3 previously, and we’ll be doing everything we can to ensure this continues when we return in 2026.”

Hillspeed’s Maxime Rehm held off a train of cars to become the 13th different winner of 2025 as the GB3 season drew to a close at Monza.

Rehm signed off his first weekend in the series by delivering Hillspeed’s sixth triumph of the campaign ahead of Hitech GP’s Deagen Fairclough and Rodin Motorsport’s Gianmarco Pradel.

Fairclough had looked set to snatch second in the championship from Patrick Heuzenroeder after climbing from ninth on the reversed grid to the lead, but it was the Xcel Motorsport driver who prevailed thanks to a late fightback to fifth.

Rehm started on pole, with Red Bull junior Enzo Tarnvanichkul alongside him, but it was Rodin’s Abbi Pulling who made the best launch from the second row, though there was not enough space for her to move past the front two.

Having missed part of the first chicane and dropped behind Tarnvanichkul, Rehm reclaimed the lead into Lesmo 1. Tarnvanichkul ran wide and lost further places to Pradel and Fairclough, the latter making up six places on the opening lap.

Fairclough was past Pradel for second at the beginning of lap two, and he then took the lead away from Rehm on the next tour.

With Heuzenroeder struggling to move forwards from 10th, Fairclough provisionally was well placed to take the championship runner-up spot. But he missed the first chicane while defending from Rehm on lap five and slipped to second, and a further error at Ascari cost him another position to Pradel.

Fairclough quickly reclaimed the place from the Australian, but was unable to get back into the lead.

Rehm struggled for pace in the closing stages, allowing a further pack of cars led by Pulling to catch the front three. By the final lap, the German had eight cars in the slipstream train behind him, but he remained ahead until the chequered flag to win on his third start.

Pulling finished fourth and Heuzenroeder made up three places late on to move back ahead of Fairclough in the standings. Reza Seewooruthun came home sixth behind him.

Alex Ninovic ended his title-winning campaign in dramatic style. Starting from 12th, the Rodin driver tumbled to 19th after running through the gravel at the della Roggia chciane early on. As he recovered through the field, he made a remarkable save from a huge sidewards moment at Lesmo 2, and by the end of the race had joined the lead pack in seventh.

Hillspeed’s Lucas Fluxa faded to eighth, having battled Pulling for most of the race, with Noah Lisle finishing close behind.

Hitech GP’s Deagen Fairclough emerged from a highly eventful second contest of the weekend at Monza as a GB3 race-winner.

A chaotic early part of the race resulted in the safety car being required three times.

Having been challenged off the line by JHR Development’s Noah Lisle and Fairclough, Rodin Motorsport’s polesitter Ninovic locked up approaching turn one, forcing all three drivers to miss the corner. Lisle emerged with the lead from Fairclough and Ninovic upon rejoining the circuit, while there was a separate incident directly behind them.

Xcel Motorsport’s Patrick Heuzenroeder was the leading car to negotiate the first chicane, but he bounced over a kerb and made contact with Reza Seewooruthun and retired almost immediately with a broken front-right suspension. Seewooruthun also appeared to suffer damage and speared across the road into the path of Newman Chi, was spun into retirement with a broken rear ring.

Racing resumed on lap three, but again there was turn one drama. Ninovic made a great restart and immediately swept by Fairclough before challenging Lisle for the lead. Lisle locked up under braking, with Ninovic taking avoiding action by cutting the corner and Lisle also missing the second part of the opening chicane. Fairclough powered past the pair into the lead, and Ninovic rejoined back in third.

But again, the safety car was required as JHR’s Bart Harrison retired after tangling with Isaac Phelps, and there was a separate incident further round the lap: Kabir Anurag ran through the gravel on the exit of the della Roggia chicane and then, as he rejoined, forced Maxim Rehm completely off the road and into the barriers.

The track returned to green on lap five, with Fairclough breaking clear and Ninovic reclaiming second from Lisle, who also lost a further place to Gianmarco Pradel. As the cars came round to complete the lap, Argenti with Prema’s August Raber slid off into the barriers at Parabolica, and the contest was neutralised once more.

The safety car peeled into the pitlane at the end of lap seven, and Fairclough locked up into the first chicane as he defended from Ninovic and cut the corner, and his rival slightly missed the corner as well. Ninovic swept by into the lead as Fairclough rejoined the circuit, with Pradel and Lisle close behind them.

Rodin’s Pradel snatched second from Fairclough on the outside into Parabolica, with the latter drawing back alongside and reclaiming the position at turn one.

Fairclough then got a run at Ninovic, and he was back into the lead at della Roggia. Ninovic was forced to defend from Pradel later around lap at Parabolica, while an incident ensued directly behind them, as Lisle was rear-ended into a spin by Hillspeed’s Lucas Fluxa and limped into the pitlane to retire.

Ninovic challenged Fairclough as the pair started the penultimate lap but was not able to get by. The pair went side by side again into della Roggia on the final tour, and Fairclough held on before leading Ninovic and Pradel home for his first win.

Hitech’s Keanu Al Azhari negotiated all the chaos in the race to climb from 20th on the grid to fourth, with Abbi Pulling taking fifth ahead of Kai Daryanani, Jack Sherwood and Anurag.

GB3 champion Alex Ninovic scored his ninth victory of 2025 in a restarted race one of the weekend at the Monza season finale.

The Rodin Motorsport driver resisted a challenge from Xcel Motorsport’s Patrick Heuzenroeder at the original start before the contest was red flagged due to multiple cars retiring in first lap incidents.

Elite Motorsport’s GB4 graduate Isaac Phelps tangled with August Raber on the run to the first chicane and damaged his car against the wall, Bart Harrison and Rodrigo Gonzalez were part of a three-car collision through Curve Grande and retired in the gravel trap, and Kai Daryanani also stopped on circuit with suspension damage following a separate incident.

The race was fully restarted following a short delay, with the contest shortened to 10 laps. This time Heuzenroeder was slightly slow away and had to defend from Hitech GP’s Deagen Fairclough into the first corner, while Ninovic held a half-second advantage at the front.

Fairclough ended up losing third to Rodin’s Gianmarco Pradel, but he dived back up the inside into the della Roggia chicane to reclaim the place.

There was a brief safety car period after Bianca Bustamante was tagged into a spin at turn one by her Elite team-mate Flynn Jackes, and Ninovic continued to the lead once the track returned to green.

The Australian struggled to break out of slipstream range from his pursuers from there, with as many as six cars in the lead train, but he did edge away slightly on the final lap.

He took the chequered flag with a winning margin of 1.613 seconds over Heuzenroeder, who cemented his hopes of taking second in the championship by finishing directly ahead of his two main rivals.

Pradel completed a double podium for Rodin by sweeping around the outside of Fairclough into Ascari on the penultimate tour, with Fairclough resisting a further challenge from Hillspeed’s debutant Newman Chi to finish fourth.

Maxim Rehm finished just behind his Hillspeed team-mate on his first GB3 start, with Reza Seewooruthun and Luca Fluxa following him home.
