Elite Motorsport, Fox Motorsport and Hillspeed have added to their 2026 GB4 line-ups.

Belgium-based Venezuelan racer Emmilio Valentino Del Grosso has been signed by Elite, and the 16-year-old steps up to GB4 from entry-level sportscar series Ginetta Junior where he also raced for the team. He came 18th in the standings there last year as a car racing rookie, with a best finish of seventh.

Ginetta Junior runner-up Fred Green is also moving across from Elite’s sportscar squad to its GB4 counterpart, and the USF Juniors-experienced Matan Achituv is another of the team’s drivers for 2026.

Jasser Iskander and Enzo Rujugiro, both 15, will be joining Fox for their single-seater racing debuts. Iskander is the reigning champion of IAME Series Saudi Arabia’s X30 Junior class, a feat he achieved in his second year of karting. He did tests in GB4 cars later in 2025, and is aiming for podiums from his rookie campaign in the championship.

Rujugiro put his focus into car tests through 2025, but did not sample a GB4 chassis until this week when he first worked on track with Fox at Snetterton. The South African had raced in junior karting from the end of 2022 through to 2024, with 13th in the 2022 LeCont Trophy (in the OK Junior class) being his best result on the international scence. He also came 21st in the 2024 WSK Champions Cup in the OK-N Junior class.

Hillspeed has brought in American duo Demitri Nolan and Connor Willis. The 21-year-old Nolan came 10th in the Ligier Junior Formula Championship on home soil two years ago as a single-seater rookie, then switched from first to second-generation Formula 4 chassis in 2025 by racing in United States F4. He came sixth with two podiums, but was last of the full-timers in a depleted field.

Willis knows the tracks visited by GB4 well, having spent the last two years racing in United Formula Ford. In 2024 he was 14th in the standings, and made the final of Formula Ford 1600’s illustrious Walter Hayes Trophy event at Silverstone.

He improved to seventh in United FFord’s points table last year, and at the FFord Festival made the podium in his heat and was ninth in the final. Recovery drives were required at the WHT, where Willis won the last chance race and charged from 29th to 10th in the final.

Hillspeed has done a propert winter testing programme with Willis to prepare him for the switch from FFord to slicks-and-wings cars.

Formula 4 race-winner Martin Molnar has completed Rodin Motorsport’s 2026 GB3 line-up.

The 17-year-old began his career in karting, where he won the South Garda Winter Cup and was WSK Champions Cup runner-up on OK karts in 2023 and was a finalist in the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy shootout.

Molnar then stepped up to single-seaters and shone during two seasons with Virtuosi Racing in British F4.

In 2025 he took the rookie cup having scored five outright podiums en route to eighth in the standings. The Hungarian racer improved to third overall last year with two victories and eight other podiums, and also came 13th in F4 Middle East.

“I am really looking forward to the upcoming season and excited to continue my career with the top team in GB3,” said Molnar.

“I believe an extremely exciting year lies ahead of us; during last autumn’s tests, we immediately found a strong working relationship with the team, and everyone has been highly professional and composed.”

He joins GB3 race-winner Maxim Rehm and series sophomore Abbi Pulling at Rodin, which has been the home of each of the last three champions. 

“We’re happy to welcome Martin to Rodin Motorsport for the 2026 GB3 season,” said the team’s sporting director Benn Huntingford.

“He’s shown strong potential and a mature approach to his racing and we believe this environment will allow him to continue developing while competing at a high level. We’re looking forward to seeing how he progresses with the team.”

Meanwhile, this year’s GB4 grid has grown to 16 cars, with multiple karting champion Cian Geraghty joining Scorpio Motorsport for his first season in single-seaters.

The 17-year-old won the Kartmasters Grand Prix and came third in an X30 senior kart in both the British karting championship and the IAME Euro Series in 2024. Last year he added further titles in the Ultimate Karting Championship and Rotax National Trophy, and finished fourth on his car racing debut during an Mazda MX-5 Supercup cameo at Oulton Park.

He will partner BRSCC Fiesta Junior graduate Archie Davies at Scorpio, which is returning for its first full GB4 campaign after contesting the 2022 season finale.

“After a strong few years of senior karting, I am looking forward to making the step up to the GB4 championship for my first season of car racing,” said Geraghty. “I am really looking forward to racing with Scorpio Motorsport and seeing what we can do together.

“We had a really positive first day in the car at Snetterton and I am looking forward to building on that through the winter testing before round one. A massive thankyou to everyone at Scorpio Motorsport for everything they have done to give me this opportunity for 2026.”

Abbi Pulling will stay with Rodin Motorsport as she embarks on a second GB3 campaign in 2026.

It will be Pulling’s fourth year with Rodin, her association with the team having begun in F1 Academy. Two seasons in the all-female Formula 4 series yielded fifth overall in 2023 and a dominant championship success with nine victories at the second attempt. She also took one win and seventh in the standings during a partial British F4 assault with Rodin in 2024.

Pulling received a fully-funded drive in GB3 last season as her prize for winning the F1 Academy crown. She went on to take a podium finish at Brands Hatch and ended the season 10th in the points.

“I’m delighted to be returning to the GB3 Championship with Rodin Motorsport for the upcoming season,” said Pulling. “We had some really strong moments last year, including our first podium at Brands Hatch, and I’m looking forward to more of those this season with the team. 

“I’m really thankful to Rodin Cars and my other partners for their continued support of my career, and am looking forward to bringing some more trophies back to Farnham this year and applying everything I learned in 2025.”

“We’re very pleased to continue working with Abbi for the 2026 GB3 season, both on track with Rodin Motorsport and as a Rodin Cars ambassador,” added Rodin’s managing director Emma Duncan.

“She showed strong progression throughout her rookie year, and her podium towards the end of 2025 underlined her potential. We’re confident this continuity will allow her to build on that momentum next season.”

Four more seats have also been filled on the GB4 grid.

Josh Maclean will remain with Pace Performance for a second season, having come 14th as a single-seater rookie last year, with seventh place his best result.

Luke Hilton has switched to ADM for his sophomore campaign. He took one podium and finished 18th overall with Douglas Motorsport last year despite missing two rounds.

Car racing rookie Jay Leverton has been announced as Idola Motorsport’s first signing, the 16-year-old having competed in karting in the UK since 2021.

American teenager Jordyn Martin has completed Fortec Motorsports’ three-car lineup. The 15-year-old started out in motocross before moving into karting, and has already made her first single-seater starts in USA’s East Formula Series and the Ligier Junior Formula Championship.

American racer Jason Pribyl will remain with ADM as the team make its expansion into GB3 this year.

The 20-year-old competed for Gary Ward’s outfit in GB4 last season, coming 17th in the standings as a rookie and scored a best result of third during round two at Silverstone.

Pribyl previously raced single-seaters and sportscars in his homeland before moving his career to Europe via the wingless Formula Ford 1600 category. There he scored two victories and finished as championship runner-up in United FFord in 2024, and also contested that year’s FFord Festival and Walter Hayes Trophy events.

Having run a single car for Pribyl in its inaugural GB4 campaign, ADM is planning three-car entries in both GB3 and GB4 this year after joining forces with British Superbike team owner Nitrous Competitions.

“For me it’s the obvious decision to stay with Gary and ADM for 2026,” said Pribyl. “With such little infrastructure last year, we were able to accomplish some incredible things, and now with the support of David [Williams] and Nitrous Competitions, we’ll be a force in GB3. 

“The car really excites me, and I’m looking forward to racing it with the upgrades and the incredible calendar.”

Ward believes Pribyl has “shown a lot of promise so far” during winter testing and added “we’re really pleased that Jason has opted to stay with us, as we all get ready for our first year in GB3″.

“Obviously the team has changed a lot since the end of the season, but by retaining Jason we’re moving up with a driver we know really well, and we’re very confident that he’ll make an accomplished step up to the next level with us.”

The 2026 GB4 grid has also grown this week, as Fortec Motorsports has named karting graduate Franciszek Cegielski as its second driver.

The 16-year-old will race alongside GB4 sophomore Thomas Ingram Hill for his first season in car racing, having achieved karting success in both his native Poland and on the international stage.

Jason Smyth, who dominated the United Kingdom’s contemporary Formula Ford scene this year, will step up to slicks-and-wings cars in 2026.

The Irish-Filipino racer will join Douglas Motorsport in GB4, after recently doing a testing programme with the team.

Smyth won the 2025 United Formula Ford championship, the FFord Festival and the Walter Hayes Trophy, but at the time of his stunning WHT victory in November he was without the funding to step up the single-seater ladder.

“I’m looking forward to the next step in my motorsport career and success in the coming year with Douglas Motorsport,” said the 19-year-old.

“I really can’t thank Douglas enough for this opportunity in my first season in slicks-and-wings, I’m really looking forward to translating my dominance in FFord into the GB4 series next year and just can’t wait to get going.”

Smyth emulated his father Neville by winning the FFord Festival, and his WHT win came despite starting 13th on the grid.

This year he also won in Northern Irish FF1600, which he was champion of in 2024 alongside winning the Martin Donnelly Trophy and making the final of the FFord Festival and WHT.

“We’re thrilled that we’ve been able to find a way for Jason to move up to GB4 with us in 2026,” said Douglas’s team manager Gemma Stevenson.

“There’s no denying the speed and talent he has in a FFord car, and he’s adapted well to slicks-and-wings in the limited testing he’s done so far with us. It’s going to be very exciting to how he gets on next year.”

Staying in Douglas’s line-up for a second year is Dayton Coulthard, the 17-year-old son of Scottish ex-Formula 1 driver David. He came 11th in his rookie season, taking a win and one other podium, and has high expectations for 2026.

“I’m determined to come back and win the GB4 championship,” he claimed. “It’s shaping up to be a massive series again in 2026, and if I can win it and be in the fight throughout, that’s going to be a huge benefit to my future career. With the team, we’re going to do everything we can before the season to make sure we’re in the best shape possible to make this a reality.”

Douglas has also signed Conor Grant, another Irishman, for next season. The 18-year-old was a national champion on X30 Senior karts, and has spent two weekends racing Formula 4 cars in the USA over the last two years.

“GB4 has been on my radar for a long time so following some very successful testing I am delighted to have secured my seat with Douglas for the 2026 season,” Grant said.

Fred Green will move from Elite Motorsport’s Ginetta Junior line-up to its GB4 squad for 2026.

Green, nephew of former DTM racer and 2004 Formula 3 Euro Series champion Jamie Green, will make his first steps into single-seater racing after starring in Ginetta’s entry-level sportscar series this year.

Having been chosen as Ginetta Junior’s scholarship driver for 2025, the 16-year-old became the most successful scholar in the programme’s history by amassing nine wins, seven of which were in the last nine races, to be championship runner-up.

Green also achieved success on the British karting scene this year by winning both the Kartmasters Grand Prix and the ‘O’ Plate at Whitton Mill. He is Elite’s second signing for next season, joining Israeli racer Matan Achituv.

“After a strong year in Ginetta Junior, and with the support of Elite Motorsport and MotorSport Vision, I’m incredibly excited and grateful to step up to the GB4 championship,” said Green.

“I’m continuing with Elite for 2026 because I’ve really enjoyed the team environment and the relationships I’ve built throughout the year. I know they can give me a competitive package to have another successful year.

“My aim in 2026 is to win the driver’s championship while at the same time contributing to the teams’ championship title race with the ultimate goal of helping Elite secure the title for a second consecutive year.”

“I’ve learned a huge amount this season, especially in developing my racecraft and leading races under pressure. GB4 testing at Donington, Snetterton and Silverstone has helped me take big steps forward and I’m improving every lap as I learn how to get the most out of a GB4 car.”

Returning team Scorpio Motorsport has this week unveiled Archie Davies as its first driver. The 16-year-old has spent two years racing touring cars in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior championship, coming eighth in 2024 and improving to fourth this year. He will swap tin-tops for single-seaters next year, having done a test programme in F4 and GB4 machinery.

“I’m really excited to be joining Scorpio Motorsport for the 2026 GB4 season,” said Davies. “After two great years in Fiesta Junior, stepping up to GB4 feels like the perfect next challenge.”

“The team has a strong reputation and I’m confident we can work well together to be competitive from the start. I’m looking forward to getting going and seeing what we can achieve.”

Thomas Ingram Hill will race in Formula 4 United Arab Emirates at the start of 2026, then compete in GB4 as it adopts GB3’s outgoing generation of cars.

The 16-year-old began his car racing career with a cameo in entry-level sportscar series Ginetta Junior in 2023, then the following year did the full season and came 11th in the standings with three eighth places as his best finishes.

For 2025 he switched to single-seaters and joined Fortec Motorsports for a double programme in the F4-spec GB4 and British F4. His full season in GB4 featured two podiums, enough to put him sixth in the standings, and two 11th places were the best results from the five British F4 events he contested.

Next year in F4 UAE next year he will race for Evans GP, a team which he already has a connection to through his management. Oversseing his career is Dan Wells, who has spent much of his own racing and management career in Asia’s junior single-seater scene where he has collaborated with Evans GP’s team principal Joshua Evans.

“Racing in the UAE is a big step in my career and a great opportunity to learn from a team like Evans GP,” said Ingram Hill.

“I’m looking forward to building on the momentum from my 2025 season, improving every weekend, and putting a strong, consistent winter campaign together.”

Evans added: “Thomas is a driver who has shown real composure and racecraft in his first year of single-seaters, and his two GB4 podiums underline the potential that we see in him. The F4 UAE championship is a fantastic platform for driver development, and we are confident Thomas will make strong progress across the four-round campaign.”

For his sophomore GB4 season, which is technically a step up the single-seater ladder, Ingram Hill will remain with Fortec.

“I’m really excited to be back with Fortec for my first full push for the GB4 title,” he said.

“Last season was all about learning and now it’s about converting that into results. I feel settled in the car and the team and I know what it takes to run at the sharp end.”

Fortec’s team principal Oliver Dutton added:  “Tom made huge strides last season. His learning curve was steep, he rose to it impressively, and by the second half of the year he was a consistent podium threat. With continuity, experience, and a focused testing programme behind him, he has everything he needs to race at the front from round one [in 2026].”

Another driver heading into a second year in GB4 is Caitlyn McDaniel. The American had very limited karting experience before joining the grid with Fox Motorsport, and came 25th in the standings with a best finish of 14th place.

She now switches to ADM, which has joined forces with leading British Superbike team owner Nitrous Competitions to enter GB3 and GB4 in 2026 as a multi-car outfit.

Elite Motorsport and KMR Sport have announced their first drivers for the 2026 GB4 season.

Remaining with KMR for a second year are Alex O’Grady and Lily-May Watkins, who came eighth and 27th respectively in the 2025 standings. O’Grady claimed one win and two other podiums, while Watkins’ best result was a 10th place.

In 2023, O’Grady was a FEED Racing France shootout finalist and despite missing out on a free seat still progressed into French Formula 4 for 2024. He came 12th in the championship, making the podium twice.

Prior to that, he spent several years karting and finished sixth in the 2022 IAME Warriors Final for X30 Junior karts at Le Mans.

“I’m very happy to be staying onboard with KMR Sport for another season in GB4,” said the 16-year-old Irishman.

“We showed very strong pace particularly at the end of the 2025 season, and I’m looking forward to carrying that into 2026. Last season was a year of learning and developing our car, now it’s time to go for the title.”

KMR’s team principal Kevin Mills added: “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Alex back to the team for a second season with us in 2026. He proved on numerous occasions this year that he was every bit as quick as the title contenders were, and with a bit more fortune, he could have been much closer to them in the final standings.”

Watkins was a single-seater newcomer this year, having previously karted across the United Kingdom and been a member of Arden’s Young Racing Driver Academy.

“Being my first year in cars the step was quite challenging, but with the team’s help I progressed immensely throughout the season,” said the 18-year-old. “This year we’ve seen progress, but next year I believe we can fight further up the grid and hopefully challenge for the female championship.”

Israeli racer Matan Achituv joins Elite’s 2026 line-up after coming 12th in the F4-spec Skip Barber Formula Race Series in 2024, then sixth in the YACademy Winter Series and 14th in USF Juniors (which use the same car) this year in the USA.

“I’ve already had a couple of strong tests with [Elite] and I am confident we can perform going into the season,” the 15-year-old said of his GB4 switch.

“I’ve felt really comfortable within the team and the environment, and it’s been a great place for me to grow. I’m ready to keep developing and pushing forward into next year. This will be my debut season racing in Europe, so I’m looking forward to the challenge of learning the UK tracks and adapting quickly.”

Team owner Eddie Ives said Achituv “has shown impressive speed and composure in testing” and “this will be a big step for him but we’re confident he’ll adapt quickly and continue to build on the potential he’s already shown”.

In the off-season, GB4 team Douglas Motorsport has run 2025 United Formula Ford champion, FFord Festival and Walter Hayes Trophy winner Jason Smyth in tests.

Elite Motorsport’s Ary Bansal clinched the GB4 title in the final race of the season at Donington Park, while Leandro Juncos claimed a maiden win.

In a deciding contest rescheduled from the previous round at Brands Hatch, Juncos led home his team-mate Daniel Guinchard for a Hillspeed one-two, while third was enough for Bansal to become champion.

Pace Performance’s Stefan Bostandjiev led away from pole at the start, as Juncos moved ahead of Fortec Motorsports’ Jack Taylor into second. Taylor locked up and ran wide into Redgate, losing further ground to Alex O’Grady and Dayton Coulthard.

Juncos challenged Bostandjiev further around the lap through Macleans and Coppice, and O’Grady made it a three-wide battle for the lead into Fogarty. Juncos prevailed to move ahead, while Bostandjiev and O’Grady both missed the corner – the latter tumbling down the order with front wing damage.

Bostandjiev held off Taylor for second after rejoining, but there pair then collided into Old Hairpin on lap two, with Taylor’s car ending upside down in the gravel trap. That resulted in the safety car being deployed, and racing resumed with nine minutes remaining.

Guinchard eventually snatched second from Coulthard, and applied pressure on Juncos for the final two laps but could not find a way by, ending the season third in the standings despite leading the way at the beginning of the weekend.

Bansal demoted Coulthard to fourth before the finish, while Phelps also missed out on the title by finishing fifth – though he pipped Guinchard to runner-up spot.

Arden’s Leon Wilson was sixth ahead of Thomas Ingram Hill and Jason Pribyl, while Alex Kattoulas survived an early collision before coming home ninth.

Fortec’s Lucas Magnussen was 10th ahead of Josh McLean and Ava Dobson, who ended the season as the top female driver in the championship to earn a €50,000 prize fund towards an F1 Academy drive next year.

Elite Motorsport’s Ary Bansal closed in on the GB4 title by winning the penultimate race at the Donington Park finale.

Bansal inherited the championship lead before the race even started. That was because Hillspeed’s Daniel Guinchard was handed a 30s track limits penalty in race two, in lieu of drive-through, demoting him to 19th.

It also dropped Guinchard to third in the standings behind Bansal and Phelps heading into race three, with six points separating the trio.

ADM’s Jason Pribyl converted his reversed-grid pole into the lead at the start, while KMR Sport’s inexperienced Lewis Wherrell was slow away from the outside of the front row and lost several places.

Fortec Motorsports’ Thomas Ingram Hill held off Bansal for second into Redgate, but made slight contact with Pribyl at Macleans while attempting to grab the lead.

That dropped him to third behind Bansal, who then challenged Pribyl through the final three corners, forcing his rival into a mistake and grabbing the lead before lap one was completed.

Ingram Hill soon dispatched Pribyl for second, but he had no answer to Bansal who held a two-second lead when the safety was deployed late on due to Pace Performance’s John O’Donnell retiring in a collision at the hairpin with Flame Arikkala. Officials then ended the contest early by bringing out red flags.

Bansal took his fourth win of the season to extend his championship lead to eight points over Phelps, who gained eight places to fourth, with Guinchard finishing one place behind him.

KMR Sport’s Alex O’Grady finished third despite a three-car clash at Goddards which sent Pribyl and Fortec’s Jack Taylor tumbling down the order.

Hillspeed’s Leandro Juncos was sixth ahead of Leon Wilson, and Alex Kattoulas produced a double overtake on Douglas duo Lucas Blakeley and Dayton Coulthard to finish eighth.

The title will be decided later on Sunday in a rescheduled contest from the previous round at Brands Hatch.
